Home of the ‘LoCos’

We’re here to rebuild Florida’s oyster culture— one half shell at a time.

We are a husband and wife duo with an origin story that involves a deep passion for Florida aquaculture. Aquaculture is engrained in all facets of our lives. We do more than farm oysters—we live and breathe them.

Lost Coast Oyster Company is Tampa Bay’s trusted source for:

Premium Florida Oysters

Farmed and sourced from high-quality growers across the state

Wholesale & Retail Supply

Serving chefs, raw bars, and salty DIY shuckers

Event Services

Professional and knowledgeable shucking for weddings, breweries + local establishments, pop-ups, corporate events, casual celebrations, and more

Sustainable Practices

Committed to putting small Florida aquaculture farms first – championing sustainable practices that protect our estuaries and empower local farmers

Lost Coast is more than a name, it’s our purpose.

When Florida’s wild oyster fishery collapsed, we stepped in with a simple mission: grow better oysters and bring them back to local tables.

What started on a two-acre lease in the Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve has grown into a full-on Gulf Coast and Florida shellfish revival—farming, sourcing, and distributing fresh oysters from across Florida to shellfish lovers, restaurants, and events in the Tampa Bay region.

"We hooked up with Lost Coast Oyster Company and we were blown out of the water. The oysters were so fresh and delicious. The sauces paired with them were heavenly. My hubs is a Florida native so we were ecstatic to learn that they were harvested locally. The owners were kind and very friendly!"

"If you're an oyster lover like me you MUST try the LoCos from Lost Coast Oysters. They are raised locally in Terra Ceia, and on the weeks they are harvested they are ready to be consumed same-day. The oysters are briny up front with a buttery finish. They were so delicious and we went through them so quickly."
